Marvellous Mystery Hunters
We work closely with the Theatre Royal in Margate and were commissioned to create a site-specific immersive adventure for all the family. Think Scooby-doo meets Crystal Maze! We had a team of actors leading the audience around the Theatre, finding clues to solve the mystery. With baddies and ghosts and cryptic puzzles!
The Historicals
Discovery Planet funded a promenade exploration of the history of Ramsgate. We utilised the buildings and landmarks of the area and had actors researching and recreating some important and interesting historical local figures. Audiences and passers-by both got to interact and hear the stories, whilst searching for information about the town.
Super Sleuths
Sleuthing meets science. Madcap events abounded in Margate Museum as we discovered Pat’s Pork Pie had been stolen. Uncovering clues, using chromatography to decipher which pen was used for the ransom note and giving evidence from the witness box were just some of the skills needed to solve the case.
Adventures in Space
Ever wanted to fly to space from the safety of your village hall? We created a bespoke event in St George’s Hall, Ramsgate where families built their own jetpacks, attended flight team training and then took a trip to Jupiter in an enormous cardboard rocket. Better keep an eye out for the aliens though.
